We are happy to customize any of the Onsite Courses to better meet your specific needs.  In most cases, the Onsite Courses are scheduled 1-3 months in advance to accommodate staff scheduling needs which provide time for customization of course material.

Course material is based on the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) publication Z136.3, The Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care.  In states that have a Regulatory Program that oversees Non-Ionizing Radiation, course material is provided to educate attendees about specific State requirements.

1-DAY Medical Laser Safety Officer Training Course held at a Hotel Conference Location

This 8-Hour Course is prescheduled in various locations throughout southwestern states. 1-DAY Onsite Medical Laser Safety Officer Training Course held at your Facility

This Course has been developed to meet the needs of larger facilities with multiple individuals involved with the Laser Safety Program.  Course content is based on the ANSI Z136.3 – 2018 publication and detailed information regarding course content are available on the Medical Laser Safety Officer Training info page.  We have had a good mix of Administrative and Front-Line personnel at these courses.  Attendees have included:

1-DAY Onsite Basic Laser Safety Course plus Hands-on Laser Operator Training held at your Facility

This Course meets the ANSI Z136.3 -2018 requirement for the provision of Laser Safety Training for individuals who work in areas utilizing lasers.  The Basic Laser Safety Presentation provides an overview of key aspects that every staff member needs to be aware of regarding the Safe Use of Lasers in Health Care.  The Basic Laser Safety Course is presented in approximately one-hour which is perfect for any facility holding a monthly education staff meeting.  The Hands-on Laser Operator Training is customized to the lasers owned and operated by facility personnel.  It provides a great opportunity for refresher training to experienced Laser Operators as well as providing a way to introduce new staff members to laser technology on their path to becoming Laser Operators.  The Hands-on portion of the training is typically limited to four (4) laser systems and ten (10) attendees to maximize training performance, skills evaluation, and retention.     

2-DAY Onsite Medical Laser Safety Officer Course plus Hands-on Laser Operator Training held at your facility

This is one of our most popular courses.  It provides every size facility with the opportunity to have key personnel who are involved the development and maintenance of the Laser Safety Program attend an 8-Hour Medical Laser Safety Officer Training Course followed up on the second day with a 1-Hour Basic Laser Safety Presentation to all staff members who have access to laser technologies and Hands-On Laser Operator Training dedicated to improving skills.  All course content is structured to meet ANSI Z136.3 -2018 training recommendations.  This is a great Course because it combines the Medical Laser Safety Officer Training Course and the Basic Laser Safety Training Course with Hands-on Laser Operator Training providing a nice 2-Day Training Event for personnel focused on providing a Safe Laser Environment for staff and patients.
